Francis Barnett, MBBS, DM(ORL), FACS

Dr. Francis Barnett received his Medical degree as well as his degree in Otolaryngology (ENT) at the University of the West Indies. He has spent one year studying ENT in England under the auspices of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Barnett has done advanced ENT courses in France, England and the United States. Dr. Barnett earned a very prestigious honour when he became a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2018.

He has special interest in the areas of sinus, sleep, cancer and thyroid surgery.

Dr Barnett is currently a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Kingston Public Hospital where he overseas the management of all ENT disorders, especially head and neck cancer. He is also an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West Indies being responsible for teaching ENT to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
