Kristé-Kaye King-Robinson, mbbs, dm


Dr. Kristé-Kaye King-Robinson received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at The University of the West Indies (UWI). During that period, she did her elective in Gastroenterology and cemented her love for the specialty. This led to the pursuit of a Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Internal Medicine at UWI. 

She later worked as an Internal Medicine Consultant at the main public hospital in the British Virgin Islands for several years before deciding to pursue additional studies in Gastroenterology. She attended McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario) where she completed her fellowship in Gastroenterology. This provided the opportunity to work with, and learn from many of the top minds in the field. Dr. King-Robinson has published articles in the West Indian Medical Journal and was also awarded the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology Resident Research Award during her two-year tenure at McMaster University. 

Dr. King-Robinson is a member of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology and Medical Association of Jamaica. She has a special interest in Colon Cancer prevention and is determined to increase the level of screening currently underway in Jamaica.
